RSL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative & Performing Arts with a Dance or Musical Theatre pathway
The College at CDS is excited to be working in partnership with Virtual Learning UK to deliver this highly practical Performing Arts programme. The course
An exciting Full Time course designed for 16 to 18 year olds who wish to prepare for vocational training followed by a career in the Performing Arts Industry.
A highly practical course with studio based classes, enhanced by a variety of contextual studies that directly relate to the dancers experience of rehearsing, performing, creating, researching, appreciating dance and safe practice. In addition, you will have access to unique performance and dance leading opportunities throughout this two year fully funded programme. Classical Ballet, Jazz Technique, Musical Theatre, Tap, Commercial Jazz, Stretch and Body Conditioning, Lyrical/Contemporary, Acrobatics, Optional Singing
WHO IS IT FOR?
The Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative and Performing Arts in Dance is for students wanting to gain specialist knowledge and skills, enabling entry to vocational training, industry specific employment or progression to a related higher education course at university. It is preferred that students have had previous dance training either at level 2 or through dance qualifications outside of school. For the full requirements please download our prospectus.
